Our annual budget for this year-round program includes a Director of Programs, a full-time English teacher, a sewing teacher, rent and upkeep of our center that includes a classroom and library in the heart of rural Carbon 1, monthly field trips/life skills workshops for our 16 student (age 7-12 years old), a Girls for Success Club for high school students,  a sewing revenue project, guest speakers, and art and music activities.

Current Needs

   *  $500 to sponsor a girl annually

  • ​​​​$300 for a sewing machine

  • $175 for a student's bicycle

  • $150 for one field trip 

  • $100 for one month toward sewing teacher

  • Any “general fund” amount given is greatly appreciated to assist with teachers’ salaries ($9000 yearly), rent ($3060 yearly), upkeep (varies yearly), and utilities (vary yearly)

  • Any amount towards San Jose excursion, $3000 per year

visit us on a retreat with yoga, adventure, service

Join our annual one-week humanitarian, yoga and adventure trip to Costa Rica. Enjoy a wide variety of activities including zip-lining or horseback riding, swimming, hiking, yoga, visiting the local animal rescue center, river raft down the Pacuare (optional) and a day of service at our center. All proceeds from this trip go to the Girls for Success Program.​
